General Information

General information regarding fees, payments, and appointments is provided below.

Session duration

  • Individual psychotherapy / consultation: 45 minutes
  • Couple or family therapy: 70 minutes

Payment methods

  • Cash
  • Bank transfer / electronic bank transfer (e.g. BoC QuickPay)

Please note that credit and debit cards are not accepted.

Insurance

I work on a private-pay basis and with private medical insurance only.
I do not provide services through GESY.

Clients who wish to use private medical insurance are responsible for checking whether their insurance plan covers mental health services. Many private insurance packages cover all or part of the cost of psychological assessment and/or psychotherapy sessions conducted by a licensed clinical psychologist.

In some cases, a referral from a medical doctor (e.g., neurologist, psychiatrist, or general practitioner) is required. Please confirm coverage details, referral requirements, and reimbursement procedures directly with your insurance provider.

Cancellation policy


Appointments are reserved exclusively for you. For this reason, at least 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.

Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged in full, as the time has been specifically set aside for you and there is usually insufficient time to offer the appointment to another client.
